does being a famous celebrity spoil you?

Today, the number or famous celebrities are counted up to a hundred and more, all in different fields. Some in acting, some as talented sports men, some musician, artists, etc. being famous is one of the top goals in everyone’s list because when you’re famous, you have the money and attention, life is served on a gold platter. Now being famous is great and all but a lot of people in the world think that being famous can also spoil you, making you be hated instead of loved, but is that true?

Being famous has its advantages like owning big houses, expensive cars, some even own their own sports team. However not all celebrities only concentrate on themselves, some use their power and money to help others out like, Lebron James recently helped 800 children graduate from his home town. Chris Patt dresses up as his super hero character and goes to hospitals to cheer the sick children up, and famous actor from ‘Two & a half men’ Charlie Sheen donated $100,000 to an epilepsy charity as well as to child health services. Some celebrities may not be very charitable but others influence the crowd to be better people. They release songs that may encourage us to be a better person or to change our bad habits, some actors may have live talk shows telling us about the hard life and that we should stop doing drugs and crimes.

There are many celebrities in the world who use their influence and money for good but not all of them are like that. Some take their power for granted e.g: Lindsy Lohan, famous young actress was caught injecting heroin and is addicted to all sorts of drugs. Justin Beiber, a famous singer amongst teens is now hated by many due to lack of respect to fans and society, he was caught speeding in residential areas and also in drugs and alcohol. Also famous ‘Home Alone’ actor Macaulay Culkin suffered a terrible addiction to heroin and now plays no part in movies.

think that being famous cannot spoil you only if you don’t let it. Money can change a person but it depends on their intentions, how he/she plans to use it, sure they can use it for themselves to buy fancy stuff but they can also be charitable or set a good example for their fans so I think being famous does not spoil you.
